The functions of the hormone • stimulates secretion of testosterone in testes • triggers ovulation and stimulates secretion of estrogen and progesterone in ovaries
Type of Regulatory Mechanism • Negative feedback • If something isn’t working properly it controls it to it gets back to normal, maintains Homeostasis
Conditions • Hyper-more then one egg at a time, more chance of conceiving • Hypo- not as many eggs, failure to conceive child
