SKUAST Recruitment 2016 – JRF and Project Assistant Posts Notice ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE Applications on plain paper are invited from eligible candidates for the positions mentioned below under DST, Govt. of India funded project “Biomass carbon distribution of major foresttypes in the northern region of Kashmir Himalayas using field inventory, remote sensing and GIS” . The application complete in all respects including the contact information includingmobile number, e- mail ID and an affixed recent passport size photograph should reach to the Principal Investigator’s Office by or before 29-01- 2016. The interview for the said positions shall be held on 02-02-2016 at 12:00 PM at the Faculty of Forestry, Benhama-Watlar Ganderbal J&K. S. No. Position No Emoluments Qualification 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 1 Rs. 25000 plus HRA @ 10% per month (Upto 2 years) &Rs. 28000 plus HRA @ 10% per month (3rd year) MSc Forestry Desirable: Experience relevant to the title of the project 2 Project Assistant (PA) 2 Rs. 8000/- consolidated per month MSc Forestry The engagement of project staff shall be ruled by the following terms and conditions: 1)The appointment shall be contractual and co-terminus with the project. 2)The appointment shall be governed by terms and conditions of the project funding agency (DST, Govt. of India). 3)No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview.
