The decomposed dirt is washed away by rainwater. Bios Self-Cleaning® consists of a component of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2), which is a natural substance with photo-catalytic properties. This means, the pollutants on the surface of the tile will be decomposed in the presence of ultraviolet (UV) light.
