Phase 1: Community Groups and Homeowner Selection Outreach to volunteers and businesses August 2009 – first two weeks Phase 2: Family orientation & Eco-Audits of homes including benchmarking Outreach to volunteers and businesses August/ first week September 2009 Phase 3: Design Solutions (scope of work) for each home & Hands – On Training for the Community, Families, and Volunteers Outreach to volunteers and businesses September 2009 (The design phase of the project is a close collaboration between experts and the families.) Phase 4: Family Approval of the Scope of work & timeline for each home September 2009 Phase 5: Construction and installation (Using all that Training) Beginning End of September 2009 Each home will remain operational throughout the installation phase Phase 6: Celebrate October 2009 Phase 7: Tracking the savings October 2009 and Onwards.
