1) Live it Out: A Strong Name to Carry- Eph 3:14-15 14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven & earth is named,
A name carries a more than just an identifier, it carries a lineage. Calling God our Father means carrying forward His history, character and expectations.
1) Live it Out: A Strong Name to Carry- Eph 3:14-15 Am I living out my family “name”?
2) Live it Out: A Strong Presence on the Inside- Eph 3:16-17 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
2) Live it Out: A Strong Presence on the Inside- Eph 3:16-17 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;
God is working in us, not just around us, to give us a strong sense of who we are and what He can do through us.
2 Cor 4 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
II Tim 1 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
2) Live it Out: A Strong Presence on the Inside- Eph 3:16-17 Am I living out a strong inner person or do I stumble because I am unsure of myself?
3) Live it Out: A Strong Foundation Underneath- Eph 3:17-19 17… that you, being rooted & grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width & length & depth & height--
3) Live it Out: A Strong Foundation Underneath- Eph 3:17-19 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
A building is only as strong as its’ foundation, so is a life. We cannot outwardly live a relationship with Jesus for long that does not have a strong foundation.
How powerfully the apostle speaks of the love of Christ! The breadth shows its extent to all nations and ranks; the length, that it continues from everlasting to everlasting; Matthew Henry
the depth, its saving those who are sunk into the depths of sin and misery; the height, its raising them up to heavenly happiness and glory. • Matthew Henry
Those who receive grace for grace from Christ's fullness, will be filled with the fullness of God. Shouldn’t this satisfy man? • Matthew Henry
3) Live it Out: A Strong Foundation Underneath- Eph 3:17-19 Do I feel a strong foundation underneath my life or do I waver?
4) Live it Out: A Strong God that Works Around Us- Eph 3:20-21 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedinglyabundantlyabove all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
4) Live it Out: A Strong God that Works Around Us- Eph 3:20-21 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever & ever.
God’s power is not limited by us, even the worst of us. We, God working in and around us, are more than able to handle the world we live in.
Jer 32 17 'Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens & the earth by Your great power & outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.
4) Live it Out: A Strong God that Works Around Us- Eph 3:20-21 Do I live confidently in the power of God in and around me?
