  1. Rumin Vladimir(1874-1937) was an engeneer A journalist and pedagogue. He was born In VelikayaUsman (Voronezgubernia)

  2. V.Rumin finished Lodz Craft Higher School(Poland) and came to Mykolayiv. During 1894-1899 he was studing at KharkivTechnologialInstitute.LaterRumin taught Building Technology at Mykolayiv railway technical school.

  3. Rumin`s first book was « Usual roads».It was published in 1901. Rumin was the author of about 60 text books,reference books and books.Among them are :Phusician-Amateur,Diverting Chemistry and others. The books were published in Mykolayiv,Kyiv,Kharkiv,Moscow,Kazan,Minsk,Tbilissi And Sofia.

  4. In 1904 Rumin and Chernyshev were editors and publishersof a journal «Physics amatour».

  5. Rumin corresponded with Tsialkovsky who was the father of spacement. Rumin wrote about 30 articles about him and were published a book »Space with a rocket «1912

  6. Rumin died in 1937 and was burried in towns cemetery.

  7. The house where Rumin lived and worked is situated in the city center.

  8. One of the Mykolayives street was named after Rumin.
