  2. Life skills We have a flat and this is where we do some of our life skills. In our flat, we have a bed, an ironing board and an airer. We sometimes go out shopping in our local community to buy ingredients for when we cook a meal for ourselves every Thursday. During life skills, we learn new skills such as washing, cooking, cleaning, ironing, shopping, making the bed and doing the laundry

  3. Moulton College We attend the college one day a week To learn how to do brick laying, woodwork and plumbing. We really enjoy learning new skills.

  4. Shuttleworth College We attend Shuttleworth College once a week. We are following an animal husbandry course which is giving us the opportunity to learn new skills. These skills include feeding the animals, cleaning out the animals and learning how to care for the animals. An example of some of the animals we learn about and handle are: pigs, rabbits, snakes, horses, lizards meerkats and many others.

  5. Barnfield College Some of us attend Barnfield College once a week. At Barnfield we are following a courses about the history of art and ceramics. We really enjoy going to this college because we also have the opportunity to buy our lunch in the cafeteria. All the students love this experience as we can practice using money to buy nice dinners in a different environment to school.

  6. Hinwick College Some of us attend Hinwick College once a week. Hinwick is a Specially adapted College situated in an old Stately Home. We really enjoy going to this college and we study a variety of subjects including Art, Horticulture and a Sensory Session. We also get the opportunity to make new friends and everyone is really friendly.
