  2. Our Achievements MCDR and Strate on AMEDAs behalf driving the activities on the Hub project • MCDR to focus on Middle Eastern countries and North African Countries (MENA) • Strate and MCDR to create a link between them • Strate to focus on sub-Saharan African countries CSD to CSD links

What was done since we last met • RMA Between MCDR and Strate • Investigating Linking Options • Direct connectivity costs to put lines between Strate and NileIT • VPN connectivity options to connect to Strate via Internet (this is not the best solution but good for Proof of Concept) • Other option is a european counterparty networking • VPN Connectivity cross linking both our SWIFT Service Bureau.

  4. Our Future Plans • Message Standardization by investigating the XML schemas and Messages to be used on the hub • Agreeing on a standardized bilateral agreements between AMEDA Members. • Analyze the impact of the proposed standards on AMEDA members systems. • Understanding market practice definitions require a lot of effort. • Getting AMEDA members to join the Hub based on the geographical location of the members.
