  4. Social- emotional • Provide opportunities for children to exercise social emotional skills • Offer materials and opportunities for children to emulate adults. • Create opportunities for children to play and interact with one another. • Block play • Dramatic Play • Cooking Activities

  5. Cognitive Skills • Ask open ended questions • Opportunities for children to experience cause and effect. • Sorting materials • One to one correspondence • Abilities to make patterns

  6. Self Help Skills • Encourage children to do tasks for themselves. • Use a fork or spoon independently • Dress themselves • Toilet training • Uses language to solve own problems
