Introduction May read Excuse Me, Please! aloud and discuss bellwork. Have a student demonstrate deep breathing while student record everything they observe happening. Discuss their observations. Study the diagrams in Figure 10.2 p 80 in SG. What happens to the pressure in the lungs when the diaphragm moved downward? What happens to the pressure in the lungs when the diaphragm moved upward?
