New Berlin West Theatre Arts Program TAP WHO CAN GET INVOLVED!? • Must be an active, unsuspended student of New Berlin West Middle and High School. • Must participate in a minimum of 2 events (productions and activities) to be considered an active member. • Must be considerate of other members and follow the policies of New Berlin West Code of Conduct. • Must be a good representative of the NBW Theatre Arts Program and help promote the program.

  13. New Berlin West Theatre Arts Program TAP • Construction and Running Crews • Running Crew (booth, managers, props, costumes) picked from Construction Crew and directors • Tuesdays and Thursdays 3 to 5:30 • Crew – add Technical and Production Week and All Performances

New Berlin West Theatre Arts Program TAP • Become a Thespian (High School Only) • Membership fee covers Thespian Dues • Lifetime Membership w/ Internat’l Society • Free ticket to Season • Specials • Manages the Thespian Activities • Attends Thespian Meetings • With Guild and Directors, leadership manages the Ovation Awards

  15. New Berlin West Theatre Arts Program TAP • Fee Rate • $50 ONE TIME FEE 9th to 11th Graders • $25 ONE TIME FEE 12th Graders Looking into a Middle School Thespian Society! All Active Drama Club Members will be encouraged to participate in activities, like road trips, Ovation Awards, Movie, Fundraisers

  16. New Berlin West Theatre Arts Program TAP • Blithe Spirit – November 8-9 -10! • Charles Condomine is an author. To research a book, he and his 2nd wife Ruth invite a medium to a dinner party at their home. Dr. and Mrs. Bradman are also invited to witness the séance by Madame Arcati. During the séance, Madame Arcati opens a portal to the other side whereby Elvira, Charles’ 1st wife, comes back from the grave. Edith, the new maid-servant, also witnesses the challenges of the new house guest. • This experience creates new challenges for Charles, that provide inspiration to Charles in his understanding of relationships, his work and himself – the Renaissance Man. Set in the 1940s, this comedy is filled with delicious language, comedy and drama.

Created by Neil Simon for the stage, then the movie – a sitcom - - but played only by MEN! • Role reversal. 4 women and 2 men. • Auditions for HS Students: January 9 and 10, 2014
