Escalation The Escalation Campaign is a series of specific encounters between the four factions. Each Season has a four-way battle for Act 1. Then a series of 1,000 pt battles for Act 2, and a battle between the two highest ranked players for Act 3. After Act I, you deploy three warcasters to each of the three scenarios you will play in Act II.. The two players with the most victory points face off in Act III. Each brings 1,000 points plus their total Survival Bonus.
Added Rules • Warjack Bonding - no • Two Handed Throws - yes • Trample - yes
Mercenaries • Mercenaries cannot be played as a faction. • Mercenary Warcasters can be fielded as secondary warcasters but cannot be deployed. • No Quarter 1 Mercs OK: • Ashlynn, Mule, Vanguard, Bokur, Hammerfall, Steelheads
Deploying Warcasters These are ‘primary’ warcasters. Your secondary warcaster cannot be the primary warcaster of a scenario you haven’t played yet The order warcasters are deployed depends on the Act I battle. The player who placed last deploys first, and the winner deploys last. Once you have deployed your warcasters, you inform the other players. You only have to assign 1 warcaster to each scenario. Note: You need at least four warcasters .
Record Keeping Track your VPs from act 2 (remember - only count one against each faction) VPs of all your surviving models * 3=Survival Bonus. Add your SB from all Act 2 scenarios & field that many more points in Act 3. Warjacks survive if they are not inert, disabled, or wrecked.
