Escalation Model – Supplier Quality • Criteria for De-Escalation: • PPM-targets are reached • No repeated defects • Other quality targets reached • (if existing, e.g. related customer claims, field quality etc.) • Delivery performance criteria fulfilled (in case of logistics escalation) • Good 8D performance (reaction time, quality of content) • No big variety of different defect types (instable process!), • even if small reject quantities • and • All criteria need to be met • Fulfillment must be proven for minimum duration of 2 consecutive months (or longer if requested by Webasto)
Internal working advices • PPM Target Tracking Sheet can be used as an option already in level 1 • Extended 8D reports should be requested at least for repeated defects • Escalation letters will be signed as follows: • Level 1: Head of plant logistics + Head of plant quality • Level 2: Supplier owner (purchasing) + Supplier development engineer • Level 3: Head of purchasing + Head of Supplier development
