Four Questions asked: • What was the most Importantthing you learned in 1st 10 yearspost graduation? • If you could go back in time and talkto yourself, what would you say? • What was the best thing you took away from your KSU experience? • What should we be asking?
Rules on Input • Hear once – ignore • Hear twice – think about it • Hear three times – plan for change • Hear four times – CHANGE SOON
Most Important Think Learned in 1st 10 years out: • Keep learning • Be adaptable, things will change • Have confidence you can learn (you can!) • You get broad knowledge at KSU, you will get “depth” in your job
Tell yourself • Networking and getting to know people is important • Dive in, “roll up your sleeves”, don’t be shy • Practice soft skills • Take advantage of the global / cultural diversity at KSU • Follow your passion • Writing, communication, and presentation skills are important
Best things about KSU • Great “brand recognition” worldwide • The broad base available is valuable
Summary • I’m not sure what we should do with this feedback? • Any ideas?
