  2. Technology-Phoenix Project Progress – IFAS Human Resources/Payroll • Payroll • Continuing to add employees and full time faculty into the IFAS Payroll test runs • Workflows/Reports • Completed the development of the Position Request workflow

  3. Technology-Phoenix Project Progress – Banner Student System • DegreeWorks • Upgraded DegreeWorks • Trained IT Services staff on DegreeWorks • Installed DegreeWorks in production

  4. Technology-Phoenix Project Look ahead to next quarter IFAS – Human Resources and Payroll • Continue testing IFAS Payroll • Develop training guides for Position Request workflow and plan launch

Technology and Instructional Equipment Modernization Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) Recommended: • 14 projects for close to $430K • 181 computers for ARC and CE classrooms ($173K) • 8 document cameras for classrooms ($5K) • iSTAN simulation manikin ($78K) • 2 classroom smart podiums ($37K) • Polaris integrated library system ($58.5K) • Wireless lock access control system($57K)

  9. VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCAL (VOIP) TELEPHONE SYSTEM

  10. VOIP Telephone Project Progress – • Held 63 meetings to identify the call handling requirements for each area/department • Trained 450 users in 62 classes • Cut over 17 buildings to new phone system

VOIP Telephone Project Look ahead to next quarter • Cut over remaining buildings to new phone system • 7/11: G, K-annex, H, L, N-Annex, R2, S, S2 • 7/31: A • 8/13: B, J, P, Q, R, Z, and PCPA Box Office • Implement remaining services • E911, Paging, Speech Recognition, Fax Server, Call Accounting Reports, Conference Bridge

  12. VOIP Telephone Project • Copper Cable Upgrade • Install new copper wire in exiting conduit • Install new conduit and copper to building D • Install new conduit and copper from L to NE corner of parking lot 8 July 17 – Select contractor Dec 2012 – Complete project
