Why KRLSC is organized • We need interoperable e-documents which can achieve interoperability among industries and global markets • Understanding UBL through the Korean language • Implementing UBL in Korean markets • Propagating UBL and OASIS’ activities into the Korean market • We hope to participate in the UBL TC to accelerate interoperable e-business standards with other countries

Action Plan – Study & Research • Feasibility study to adapt UBL to Korean business practices and laws • Proposal for extended specifications to accommodate local legal and business practices in Korea • Study of deployment cases of UBL around the world, and publication of the case studies for reference to various industries
Action Plan – Deployment to interoperable system • Development of e-Commerce systems based on UBL, which work as interoperable tools for various industries’ message standards • Conversion methods between UBL and industries’ standard business documents from the view point of syntax and data elements • Conversion systems between UBL and various industries’ standard business documents
