DLA Desired Outcomes • Focus Agency attention on key suppliers: • Strategic Supplier Alliance (SSA) partnering relationships with certain key suppliers who are either sole source or have extensive long-term contracts. • DLA negotiates broad performance metrics (customer outcomes) in the SSA agreements. • Individual contracts specify detailed performance requirements. • CMOs should work with SSA contractors at the local level to monitor and facilitate execution of these performance metrics. • See SSA Agreements at https://today.dla.mil/j-3/j-336/logisticspolicy/J-3312/SSA.htm • DCMA HQ and DLA are negotiating a Performance Based Agreement that will outline overall customer outcomes.
