Organs of the Excretory System • Skin – contains sweat glands that excrete perspiration through skin pores • Perspiration – made up of nitrogenous waste (urea), salts, and water. Plays a role in controlling body temperature • Urinary System – consist of kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder and urethra • Liver – largest internal organ in the body that produces urea, a nitrogenous waste, by breaking down excess amino acids.
