Tim Rice • After Sorbonne University, joined EMI Records as management trainee on June 6, 1966. • Met Andrew Lloyd Webber after leaving EMI for a friend’s company, Capitol Records. Wrote Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Cricket, and The Likes of Us. • Also worked with Disney on Aladdin, The Lion King, and Aida.
Tim Rice • Married Jane McIntosh in 1974, but divorced after an affair. • Has two children, Eva and Donald (Eva is named after the character Evita). • Has an honorary doctorate from University of Sunderland in England • Co-founded a publishing company, Pavilion Books, with Colin Webb and Michael Parkinson.
