Security Advisory Groups - Purpose • Strategic alignment of campus-wide information security with university strategy and objectives • Management of risks and potential business impacts • Prioritization of campus information security investments • Ensure key outcomes and milestones are achieved

Security Advisory Groups - ISEG Information Security Executive Group • Endorse campus information security strategy • Set priorities for program initiatives • Endorse initiatives related to program development • Identify sources of funding/resources for enabling initiatives • Ensure that program objectives are met • Determine or approve metrics needed

Security Advisory Groups - ISSG Information Security Steering Group • Establish annual goals for the information security program • Review information security risks and provide recommendations on managing risk • Review proposed security policies, procedures, and standards; providing recommendations to ISEC • Recommend, review and prioritize information security projects and initiatives • Communicate information security needs and sound practices to business units and executive management • Review the performance and effectiveness of the information security program
