Module 1 – Home and local area Life in the home, friends and relationships Local area, facilities, and getting around Module 2 – Health and sport Sport, outdoor pursuits and healthy lifestyle Food and drink as aspects of culture and health Module 3 – Leisure and entertainment Socialising, special occasions and festivals TV, films and music

  3. What topics will I study? Module 4 – Travel and the wider world Holidays and exchanges Environmental, cultural and social issues Module 5 – Education and work School life in the UK and in French speaking countries Work experience, future study and jobs, working abroad

  4. How will I be assessed? LISTENING – 20% of total mark Externally assessed Foundation – 35 mins Higher – 45 mins SPEAKING – 30% of total mark Internally assessed Dictionaries allowed when preparing task but not allowed during the final task

  5. How will I be assessed? READING – 20% of total mark Externally assessed Foundation – 35 mins Higher – 45 mins WRITING – 30% of total mark Externally assessed Controlled assessment Dictionaries allowed in the preparation and completion of tasks D-G candidates – up to 175 words per task C-A* candidates – up to 300 words per task

Worksheets should be organised using the dividers provided. Homework should be completed on time – if you need help come and see Sra. Rodríguez. I am more than happy to help!
