Powerful influences can cause leaders to become greedy, selfish and demonstrate poor judgment. Reason behind human error
To research and analyze what leaders do to make things go wrong in society. By learning failure we can determine what is essential for a leader today and what he needs to work on for success in the future. Problem statement
Our group collectively decided to research about what leaders do, to make things go wrong for our group project. Our group split the duties of finding articles through the database during the second week. After we found each article we came together to create our proposal. Once we narrowed our questions to three total, we divided one question per two group members. Methodology

THE DECISION PROCESS MISLEAD… • Most of the time we can rely on our pattern recognition and emotional tagging to lead us in the right direction • At times it can let us down, causing us to think we understand a situation when in actuality we do not understand at all • Three specific factors were the found to cause the hardwired process to be unintentionally mislead and distorted.
RED FLAG factors • When confronted with a decision, the brains decision-making process kicks in, and the red flag factors can jump in to mislead the process. • The presence of inappropriate self-interest • The presence of distorting attachments • The Three Red Flag Factors • The presence of misleading memories
Red Flag Factor #1 • Information from the pattern recognition stageis taken and the importance we place on it is distorted to attain personal preference. • The information is distorted in biased way. • We start perceiving the patterns we want or prefer to see. Red Flag Factor #2 • Bonds are formed when people become attached to places, people or things • These bonds can affect our judgment and cloud how to appropriately handle the situation. • The presence of inappropriate self-interest • The presence of distorting attachments • The presence of misleading memories Red Flag Factor #3 • Memories that seem comparable or relevant to a current situation at hand, but in fact is not and the memory misguides our thinking process.

Bad leadership is like a disease, it infects everyone around and involved in it.
