Students going to the freshmen sophomore semi formal Be sure to get your contracts signed and dress approval by the office. Please return your completed contract to Mrs. Benedik in Room G24.
Freshman Volleyball Team, please turn your uniforms in to Mrs. Bielichby Friday. Please put them in a bag with your name on them. Thanks

Congratulations to: Abby Ceraso and Laurel Donatelli • They are members of the Girls of Steel FIRST Robotics team and they will be competing at the FIRST World Championship Competition in St. Louis, Missouri on April 25!

An Important reminder for seniors: • The successful completion of an interdisciplinary research paper is a graduation requirement. • Any senior who has not fulfilled this requirement will not graduate. • The only seniors exempted from this paper are those who are taking two AP or CE courses in which a research project/paper is required. • If there are any questions please see Mrs. Streiff or Mr. D. as soon as possible.
MAPS is holding a drive for gently used blankets and children's books. • The drive benefits the babies and young children of Angel's Place and will run through April 30th. • Donations can be dropped off in the Guidance Office.
Prom tickets will be on sale all this week in room 211 - Friday is the last day to purchase them. See Ms. Teeters if you have any questions. • The next prom club meeting will be held immediately after school on Thursday, April 18 in room 211.

Attention Chess Queens • Wednesday April 17 is our final chess match at West Mifflin. • All students may wear your OC Chess T shirts (any year) on that day to show your support for the team. • Team practice today, Monday, in 204.
Latin club will meet Thursday April 18th after school in room 213. • You do not need to be taking Latin to join. • For more information see either Abby Annear or Ms. Day.
Cancer Awareness Club members will meet Thursday April 18 to discuss upcoming events. Expect to stay until 3:00.
Sign up for Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh, Saturday, April 27th. • We will fix up a home in need of repair. • See the Campus Ministry board for details. • Space is limited.
Have Spirit Week decorating receipts? • All class presidents should give your class receipts to Mrs. Benedik ASAP. • Please write the full name of the person to be paid back on the receipt.
SENIORS • Please pick up your suitcases from your Spirit week decorating. • They are all below the staircase near the fitness center. • If they are not picked up by this Friday, they will be donated to charity.
Crew Results • On Saturday, the Oakland Catholic rowing team traveled to Marietta Ohio for the Linda mood cup. The 1st Novice had a strong day of racing with the 2nd Fastest time of the Freshman and novice combined. The second frosh rowed a strong piece against fast competition finishing 4th. • The Varsity had some strong performances, The 3rd eight rowed up in the Junior 8 category although they were undersized they rowed an strong piece. • In a hard fought battle the 2v took 2nd by 2 seconds losing to Marietta. The 1v rowed their best piece of the season beating St Joseph from Cleveland by open water.
"If you missed the brochure turn in date for the second annual 'Race Against Cancer' you can still participate in the race on Saturday May 4th with the cost of not having a t shirt. You can still pick up a brochure in the office for details or to sign up before the day of the race.Thank you!
