From December 8 to 18, 2013, Cui Yongyuan and his team visited six regions in U.S. including Los Angles, Santiago and Davis. They conducted more than 30 surveys and interviews with experts and citizens to have a fundamental understanding on GMO food in U.S. and people’s attitude towards it.
At first, Cui interviewed two faculties at food market on GMO food randomly. One of them said that she didn’t hear GMO before. Another one said that he couldn’t differentiate GMO beans with Non-GMO by shape. Section 1:Is GMO safe? controversial?
