About Wates… • As part of our boosting skills focus we are currently working in in 4 key areas: • Social Enterprises • Apprenticeships – raising opportunities for employability • Building Futures -vocational training programmes aimed at unemployed adults & NEET’s • Princes Trust –support to the ‘Get into Construction Programme’ aimed at people within deprived communities across the UK

Wates Social Enterprise Ambition As part of our CR objective to boost skills and to make a lasting difference in the community, Wates have set two group goals: Short term – 2010 Take on 50 SE’s to deliver services, skills or goods. Long term One SE on every project we complete Work with a range of SE’s Engage with SE’s as strategic partners or preferred or approved suppliers.
