Student Benefits • My College Options connects students with colleges and universities and career opportunities which are right for them. • Each student receives a free, online and personalized college planning account. • Additionally, students receive free, real-time college match reports, ACT and SAT online prep programs, and access to college expert blogs

Educator Benefits • My College Options allows you to gain relevant research on student and educator thoughts and opinions; • Have a better understanding about the makeup of your students including: • The most popular career and college major choices; • The percentage of students who are first in their family to attend college; • What tools they believe will best help them prepare for their futures; and • Many other specific data points on your students’ opinions • Additionally, having regular access to the pulse of your advisor community will allow DECA to best serve its students. Engaging Students Classroom, state conference and ICDC student participation grew 24%, 28%, and 19%, respectively.
Supporting DECA Mission Preparing leaders and entrepreneurs… • About half of all DECA event participants are planning on a career in one of the four DECA Clusters. • While the majority of DECA students report their participation advances their leadership skills, the groups most impacted are lower income, underrepresented minorities and women. • Nearly 4 of 5 ICDC participants report that DECA has increased their 21st century Skills of communication, creativity, teamwork or problem solving • Entrepreneurship is the most popular future path for DECA students. • Not only does DECA draw students with a pre-existing interest in entrepreneurship, it also has encouraged about 1/3 of its members to seek it out.
Supporting DECA Mission Classroom integration… • 80% of educators report integration of DECA into their instruction improves relevancy, engagement and fosters better learning relationships with their students. Preparing graduates for their futures… • 2/3 of DECA event participants say their DECA experience has influenced their college plans. • Over half of DECA members in the classroom say their DECA experience connects school to the real world.
