  2. Hi Fellow students Hi! I’m Lily, the head of your new monthly newspaper team. My team and I will now bring the news to you instead of you waiting for a rumor. Please welcome Eryn, Kaylee, Meghan and I. We will tell you all the news in just one quick read! Each month we take up our free time to tell all you need to know to keep up with every event so you won’t miss a thing! We will tell every little or big event! How many times have you missed out on a event just because you didn't know? Well, we have a solution to your problems! Now you will be informed of everything that happens!!

There were two little foxes with a mother, and they had little money. They went for a walk in the deep forest, in the dead of the night.   5. What’s New? Ga Ga ball! Here’s what the fourth grade teachers have to say: Ms. Rogers: I give gaga ball a 4 out of 5. I love the competition. I have heard of it. I have played it and won the whole game. Ms. Arocha: I give it a 5 out of 5 because the kids are so engaged into the game. It lets them be free. Ms. Bleakley: I give it a 5 out of 5 because they are so into the game and wanting to play. I’ve never played it and maybe one day when I wear better shoes I can play it. Mr. Becht: I give it a 4 out of 5 because no one gets hurt. I’ve never played it. I’ve never heard of it until last year. Ms. O'Sullivan: I give it a 5 out of 5 because it has no set up required and any organized things.

  7. Halloween Jokes Why didn’t the skeleton cross the road? He didn’t have the guts! Why are graveyards noisy? Because of all the coffin! Why was the baby ghost sad? It missed its mummy!

  8. Holiday Article The roots of Halloween come from the ancient pre-Christian Celtic festival of Samhain. It was celebrated on October 31. The Celts who lived over 2,000 years ago believed that the dead came back on Samhain. On this night it is common for people to gather and light bonfires and offer sacrifices and pay homage to the dead. Sometimes they dress up in animal hides (fur) to drive away phantom visitors. People started to dress up as ghosts, demons, and other violent creatures. Poor people went to wealthier people’s houses asked for candy and then in return bless their dead relatives. This is called “souling”, the people would usually give out pastries called “soul cakes”. Then that spread to the children who would go around asking for food and money and other treats.
