About Connecticut. Connecticut (eng. Connecticut [kəˈnɛtɨkət]) - a state in the North-East of the USA, included in the New England region. The capital city of Hartford, the largest city of Bridgeport. The population is 3 580 709 persons (29th place in the USA; data 2011). Is the forty-eighth the size of the US state. If not to take into account the district of Columbia, the state ranks first in terms of GDP per capita in the USA (54397 dollars). The name of the state is derived from the expression on Algonquian language, which is translated as "long river, subject to tides. Official nickname since 1959 Constitution State (the State of the Constitution). First official nickname was Nutmeg State (the State of nutmeg).

East Hartford East Hartford is a town, Connecticut, the US. The population is about 51 thousand. The town is located on the east bank of theConnecticut River.
Geography and climate. • In the North-West of the state of Connecticut is the highest point is mount Frissell (748 m above sea level). Through the Central part of North-South river Connecticut, which then flows into the Strait of long island. Built on the river Housatonic platinum, form here several picturesque lakes. A large part of the state is forested. On the South of the state, find sandy beaches and marshes. On the Western part are ranges Taconic and Berkshire. Twain and H. Stowe’s Houses • Day 5 – Six Flags Park • Day 6 – Boston Science Museum, Boston – Moscow • Day 7 – Moscow – Abakan, Abakan - Sayanogorsk
