  4. Famous For • Became a pair skater w/Sergei Grinkov at age eleven • Won World Championships in 1986 and 1987 • Ekaterina skates solo now

Interesting Facts • Sergei developed feelings for Katia • They married • Had a daughter named Daria • Born on September 11,1992 • Sergei died three years later on ice in Lake Placid, New York • Many skaters including Katia skated for his tribute • Nickname given to Katia and Sergei-G&G because of their last names
