The Compassion of a Disciple Matthew 9:35-38
35Then Jesus went to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness. 36 When He saw the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were weary and worn out, like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:35-36
37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38

Jesus said (vs. 37-38) • When it comes to missions we find ourselves in at least one of the following places: • We pray for the lost of the world. • We go to the lost of the world and share the good news of Jesus. • We give so that those who can go may be able to go. • We are out of God’s will.
