Kingdom of God Purposes • To get the gospel to those people groups in need of the gospel • To win the lost, start churches, and send indigenous witnesses back to their home country • To equip and enable churches to live Great Commission lives here
To the Nations… in our backyard • The research – process • Tier 1 – Census data • Tier 2 – “boots on the ground” • Use POI clustering to locate people group hot spots and/or people group clusters • Assess the gospel need • Map out the city

To the Nations… in our backyard Great benefits for the Great Commission • Resources – the resources it takes to get to these people are a tiny fraction of the cost to reach them overseas • Access – we have wide open access to the most closed people groups in the world now • Ease of sharing – since they are on “our turf,” no platform is necessary, and they cannot kick us out of our own country for sharing the gospel
To the Nations… in our backyard • How do we reach the nations in our backyard? • Pray believing that the God of the Nations will provide the harvest • Work with a network of churches to reach identified people groups with the gospel • Look past our preferences • Develop an understanding of a people group and cultural distinctives • Locate, equip, and train indigenous leaders • Plant indigenous churches that can then reach their people group
