SELB Extended Schools Action Plan deadline 30 November 2006 • Activities to be aligned to the 5 high level outcome areas • Plan to be integrated into the school’s development plan • Audit to identify the needs of pupils, parents and the wider community and Action Plan to match the gaps in provision Caitriona Hughes Extended Schools Co-ordinator

SELB Extended Schools Clustering • There must be 3 or more schools in the same geographical area • Ideally cross phase and cross sector • Schools must demonstrate partnership working with the other schools • Joint Action Plan submitted • Benefits • 15% of each schools’ budget to develop cluster Caitriona Hughes Extended Schools Co-ordinator
