  2. Mark 11:22-24 (NIV) • “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.

  3. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

  4. Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) • 1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

  5. Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) • And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

  6. Faith = acting on God's word

  7. 1 John 5:13-15 (NIV) • 13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

  8. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.

  18. Romans 8:26-27 (NIV) • In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

  19. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

  20. Romans 8:28 NIV • And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
