This document aligns with callee-caps-03 and introduces a negated attribute to various elements, enhances media type tags, and adds extension tags for feature representation in callee-caps. Open issues and proposals regarding type element and negated attribute for <type> are discussed. The draft also entails extension tags clarification. The author seeks guidance for defining these tags accurately. Next steps include proposing a new version and initiating a last call.

Changes • Aligned with callee-caps-03 • Added negated attribute to: <audio>, <video>, <application>, <data>, <control>, <text>, <event-package>, <method>, <extension>, <scheme>, and <language> elements • Changes all media type tags (voice, video, application, data, control, text) to be complex types • Added type element into each (no separate <type> allowed) • Added list elements into event-packages, Methods, extensions, schemes, and languages elements • Added extension tags to be able to represent feature tags not present in callee-caps: • <token> • <string> • <boolean> • <numeric>
Open issue: separate <type> • Currently <type> element outside <[media]> elements is not allowed. This is probably needed for example to: • <type>message/cpim</type> • <type>multipart/related</type> • Proposal: Add separate <type>
Open issue: negated for <type> • Currently <type> cannot contain negated attribute • For example you can negate <audio> and <video> but not media types individually • Is there any need to have negated attribute separate for <type>? • Proposal: No
Open issue: extension tags • Current draft has extension tags for: • <token> • <string> • <boolean> • <numeric> • Are these enough? • Author needs help to define these correctly
Next steps • Proposal: Write new version and last call
