  2. What we did to succeed? • Succession planning • 3 years ago, GSAM’s main goal was increase number of young women and train them to be future leaders and trainers. • GSAM can groomed young women and trains them to be future leadersfor create a future.

  3. We succeed • In 2010, all of the 6 committee chief was over than 40 years old women • In 2013, 5 of 6 committee chief is young women • 15 trainers are very young and they are 18 to 30 years old

  4. INTERNATIONAL EVENTS • Girls and young women participated to International events and they learnt from sisters of other countries. • World Conference, London, 2011 • Young women’s world forum, Sangam centre, 2011 • Joint Asia Pacific – Arab regional training of trainers workshop, Malaysia, 2011 • World leadership development program, Japan, 2012

  5. Participation, cooperation and one team • Girls and young women participate • to develop plan • To decision making of National organization. • to reporting • Women and young women are cooperate and they are one team among Girl scouting.

  6. Reduce loading • Activities of Girl Scout related to own job, profession and interest of young women. • Example: Our trainers and troop leaders are teacher and studying at Pedagogical University of Mongolia.

  7. Training • Training is based on needs and interest of girls and young women • Funny • Friendly • More practice • Challenging • Interesting • Problem solving • Share experience • Young women awarded certification of TOT

  8. Learning • Learning by doing • GSAM believe to skills of young womenGirls and young women translate books and guidelines related to Girl Scouting (Packs of Thinking day, Biodiversity challenge badge, GAT theme, Climate change and Food security challenge badge, Advocacy book etc) • Prepare and organize training for adults

  9. We believe young womenThey can do • Young women work at National office and they are responsible and leading branch of Girl Scout. • Bolortuya is Chief of the Community Committee of National Board Committee and responsible Darkhan Branch. • Darkhan is second big city of Mongolia and located 220 km from Ulaanbaatar. • Darkhan branch has over 200 members.

  10. Special program for young women • Girls and young women participate to special program • 3L project: Value of young women, funded by AP Friends, 2011-2012 • 3 L project: Environmental friendly girls, 2013 • But, we need more special program for young women and we will implement some program • Friendship program with young women of other countries

  11. President • New president elected in this year. She is Member of Parliament, famous among politics and society and very good model women for young women.
