Soda Pop Factory In Soda Pop Factory, students will create and market their own soft drink. While creating a new drink, students will use math and science concepts and learn about the economics of marketing and selling a product. From needs surveys to eye-catching advertisements, students will learn how products enter the marketplace and reach the consumers.
Wild, Weird, Wacky Science Experiment, experiment, experiment! In wild, weird, and wacky science, students will explore everything from dissecting a cow’s eye to how ice cream is made. Scientific process skills will be applied as students solve problems integrating math and science. !
Dramatic Fanatics “Dramatic Fanatics” with Ms. Amy Beaucham is designed to assist students in discovering their own creative abilities and to develop their theatrical performance skills through the joy of drama. This class will incorporate theatrical games, mime, improvisation, and lessons that focus on acting technique, and auditioning skills. Students will also receive instruction in theatrical vocabulary, costume design, blocking, stage combat, character makeup, set design, and lighting. Public debate and speaking will also be integrated into this confidence building course in self expression.
