Nvtx wrt Jet pT The statistic of higher pT is a lot less than lower pT. Thus I normalized to the shape to see the peak.
Keng's comments • Disagreement ( especiallyin Z variables) might come from lacking trigger efficiency. • Muon channel suffers from PU more than electron channel (Did Bugra apply PU suppression cut?). • Increasing jet pT cut to 50 GeV can eliminate PU and give better agreement but loss statistic. • Decreasing jet pT cut to 20 GeV make plots less agreement due to more PU. • Changing jet pT cut shifts the peak of nvtx plots a bit. Increasing jet pT shifts the peak to lower nvtx. 7
