10. Waste Management Waste management is the collection, transport, processing, recycling or disposal of waste materials by human activities. Motto - ‘‘ Reduce, reuse and recycle’’. Scientists invented biodegradable plastic bags that will degrade within months in exposure to oxygen and water. Glass, paper, metal, textiles, electronic devices and plastics can be recycled. Government makes it mandatory to recycle to save resources.
