But what about all the other great people who walked the face of the earth?
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Isaiah 59:2 Saved? Saved from what?
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. I John 1:8
For he hath made him (Jesus Christ) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. II Cor. 5:21 Okay! Okay! I’m a sinner, but EVERYBODY’S a sinner right?
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.. I Cor. 5:21 You mean Jesus was SACRIFICED for my sins?
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: II Tim. 3:16 According to the SCRIPTURES?
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 Okay, I believe You, but why would He do that?
If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom. 10:9, 10 So what do I need to do?
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved Acts 16:31 THEN will I be saved?
God created me and wants to have a loving relationship with me.
But, it’s my SIN that stands in the way of that relationship.
So God provided a way for me to still have a relationship with Him by suffering the consequences of my sin HIMSELF.
Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. Mark 12:34 HE did this by becoming a man, Jesus Christ, living a sinless life, dying unjustly, and rising from the dead.
She openeth her mouth with wisdom Proverbs 31:26 So now I can have that relationship with Him for all eternity by turning from my sin AND placing my trust in Jesus to be my personal savior Right?
Lord Jesus, I turn from my sin and place my TRUST in You to be my personal Savior, Amen.
