  2. TEXT: ISA 40:28 -31 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

  3. INTRODUCTION • The Lord has declared to us in in RCCG and Christ Temple, that our time to join the high fliers has come. • God made me to realize that out of many others, four things are very necessary for us to soar high like the eagle.

  4. THE POWER OF VISION • eyesight: the ability to see • mental picture: an image or concept in the imagination visions of power and wealth • something seen in dream or trance: an image or series of images seen in a dream or trance, often interpreted as having religious, revelatory, or prophetic significance • far-sightedness: the ability to anticipate possible future events and developments

  5. THE POWER OF VISION • You are what you see (especially in your heart or imagination) Prov.23:7, Mat. 12:35 • What do you see? Grasshopper or Giant (Num.13:33), Slave or Prince ( Gen.37:6-7)

  6. THE POWER OF PRAYER • Prayer gets us to our destination. • It helps us to realize our God given vision • Those who wait upon the Lord are prayerful people. (Dan.6:10, 28) • Isa 65:24 "It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear. • Lu 11:9 "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

  7. THE POWER OF OBEDIENCE Would you rather fly like the Rachabites or be halted like Saul. Jer. 35:2,5,6,18-19 1Sa 15:22-23 Then Samuel said: "Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king."

  8. THE POWER OF OBEDIENCE Jer. 7:23 "But this is what I commanded them, saying, 'Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you. Jos 1:8 "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

  9. LIVE HOLY AND BE READY TO BE REFINED • Isa 35:8 A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray. • Le 19:2 "Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: 'You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy.

  10. BE READY TO BE REFINED • Zec13:9 I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, 'This is My people'; And each one will say, 'The LORD is my God.'"

  11. CONCLUSION Spiritual high fliers are visionary, prayerful obedient and holy people. Above all, they are passionate about leading others to Christ. • Da 12:3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
