UNCLASSIFIED//FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY Background • The Jan 2010 Counter Threat Finance Intelligence (CTFI) Staff Assistance Visit (SAV) to Afghanistan identified actions that were necessary to mitigate or resolve intelligence gaps for support of the ATFC mission. • Since that visit took place, Personal interviews with threat finance stakeholders were conducted, organization that support CTF were identified, and analysis of potential financial data sources and their availability were examined. The requirements gathered and derived from the deployments are identified in the Sentry System. ATFC specific data store prototype consisting of a central repository to: • Store CTFI information (raw threat finance specific SSE Data. • Data binning • OCR and machine translation/transliteration capabilities • Data cleansing and standardization • Analysts tools and utilities managed by a workflow processes UNCLASSIFIED//FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY
