  1. THE HARVEST TABLE A Painting by John Mac Dougall 36 inches/914.4 mm long x 24 inches/609.6 mm high It is painted on pre-stretched canvas with rare earth pigments grounded with oil paints. Tha canvas is double primed with an acid free white gesso which allows the light that goes through rare earth pigments to reflect off the canvas and come back out. John collects Rare Earth Pigments from all over the world and prepare his archival paints which are rare and near impossible to duplicate. Due to rarity of the pigments, he tries to paint with pure pigment.
