The nature of the Ephesians in former times: “walked according to the course of this world...of the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience” (v. 2). “once lived in the lusts of our flesh” (v. 3) 3. Compare “nature” in Rom. 2:14, “For when the Gentiles that have not the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are the law unto themselves.”
