Timeline for Ordering Exams- Spring 2019 • All AP exams will be ordered online • Students may order exams at home or at school from any computer • AP Exam Order Link will be available on John Jay and Science & Engineering Academy websites starting March 1, 2019. • Students may register for exams March 1-18. • Students must PAY for exams online with credit card or debit card when they register. • Last day to register for an exam is March 18. • Last day to make changes to exam order without penalty is April 5. • All changes made after April 5 may be subject to a $15 cancellation fee.

  6. Cost of Exams for Spring 2019 • If students are currently enrolled in the course the fee is $26 per exam ($11 per exam for students who qualify for fee reductions) • If a student would like to take an exam for a course that they are NOT currently enrolled in (even if they took the course last year) the cost is $94 per exam. • Students who need to take a “Late Test” will need approval and have to pay an additional fee of $45 per exam. • Examples of reasons a student may need a “Late Test” include:Conflict with non-AP examFamily/personal commitment Other school event**Students who qualify for College Board fee reductions will not incur the additional $45 charge if alternate testing is required for one of these reasons. • If student chooses not to take an exam they will have to pay a $15 cancellation fee per exam.

College Board Changes for 2019-2020 School Year Timeline Changes • August 26-30: Students will create account and enroll their AP courses • September 3-6: AP Teachers verify rosters • October 11: NISD deadline for students to commit to taking AP Exam in May 2020 • October 15-25: Students submit exam registration and payment • November 8: Deadline for for Admin and AP Teachers to verify student exam registration status in College Board System • November 15: Deadline for Admin to submit AP Exam order to College Board Fee Changes • Students will pay $40/exam late fee for exams ordered after November 15 • Students will pay $40/exam cancellation fee for any exam they choose not to take or that they cancel after November 15
