  2. Background • Born on May 28, 2005 at 7:10 am in Sarasota • I moved to Newport Beach, California when I was 7 years old

  3. Family • In my family I have my mom, my dad, my older brother Evan who is a senior this year at Pine View and Rows for Sarasota Crew, and my younger brother Hudson, who goes to my old school, European Academy • I also have a kitten named Gizmo and a dog named Colby • We like to take rides in the car together, walk to the beach to see the sunset and go fishing. Oh, and I like being silly sometimes 

  4. Summer • I moved to Florida from California • I went to Great Explorations • I caught my first fish this summer • I built sandcastles and swam in the pool

  5. Hobbies • I like to swim • I like to play piano • I like to sing • I like to play tennis • I like to play golf • I like to play video games • I like to watch movies • I like to read

  6. School • My favorite subject is science because I like to do experiments • I like to talk to my friends and play with them at school • I like to learn about fun things

  7. Similar Character Traits • Abbey is musical. She plays the piano on page 31 and 32 and she takes piano lessons. She also performs at recitals. • I am also musical because I played the piano for 5 years. I perform at recitals too. • Abbey is a curious person who loves to explore. On page 22, she sneaks quietly to her mother’s room and wonders what her big suitcase is for. • I am also a curious person because when my parents talk about something I always ask what they're talking about and I'm very curious about it. • Abbey is also very outgoing. On page 25 she says that she likes to fish, go boating, and watch the sunset with her dad. • I am outgoing because I like outdoor activities and I am always ready for something fun.

  8. Different Character Traits • Abbey is sneaky. On page 112, she lied and said that she didn’t feel good. On page 115, she escaped through a window in her room. I am not like this because I am honest and I don’t want to leave the house alone. • On Page 150, Abbey was being aggressive. She was biting Bull’s ear. I am never aggressive and I don’t want to hurt people so I would never do anything like that. • Abbey is very stubborn. On page 152, Abbey would not let go of Bull’s ear no matter what. I am different because I am not stubborn. I always listen to my parents.

  9. Social Studies Connections • The main character in Flush, named Noah, tried to keep Florida’s environment safe because he cared for animals and nature. • He also didn’t think it was fair that Dusty Muleman was hurting the environment and polluting it.
