  4. Child Poverty: • 52.1 % of Aboriginal children live in poverty • 23.4 % of Canadian children live in poverty

  5. People who have experienced hunger: • 3.9 % of total population • 16 % of Aboriginal population

  6. Percentage of single parents earning less than $12,000 a year • 22 % Non-Aboriginal • 39 % Aboriginal

  7. Aboriginal people have a disability rate that is twice the national average
