What things can we do to improve walking at Texas Operations: • Identify hazards prior to working in the area • Walk the job, paying close attention to “walking” • Mitigate or Eliminate Walking hazards • Suggestion programs • Signage • Pre-task & SWP discussions • barricading • Maintain your health and know your limits • Take your time when walking on/around uneven surfaces • Achieve Physical fitness for the job • Be aware of your surroundings • Listen to your body when working in bent positions, take breaks, modify the working space when possible
