CREATIVE ARTSP.E LESSON TOPIC: HEALTH BENEFITS OF PHYSICAL FITNESS
KNOWLEDGE BASED OBJECTVE By the end of the lesson, the learner should be able to: • Identify any five health benefits of physical health and education correctly
Competence based objective By the end of the lesson, the learner should be able to: Use knowledge of the benefits of Physical health education to perform exercises that can develop physical fitness
JUSTIFICATION The topic:Benefits of Physical Health Education has always been taught theoretically by teachers. Competence Approach makes it more practical and learners are able to learn activities that they can use to enhance their level of physical fitness on a daily basis.
INTRODUCTION Learners to view the site: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6P-NJNlUbA to motivate them to do the skills before they go to the field. In the field: • Give general warm up to change mood of learners from class to field • Give specific warm up to exercise muscles learners will use in the lesson skills
Development stage a) Lesson skill: • Flexibility. b) Group Acitivity • Flexibility (song: head, shoulder, knees) • T balance(standing on one feet) • Box the air(use arms to box in the air) • Call rain(use fingers to call the rain)
APPLICATION OF SKILL IN A GROUP • Flexibility Group A combines with group B to make a team Group C and group D combine to make another team. Learners to compete and the teacher assesses their performance.
CONCLUSION • Cool down activities As small as a rat, as tall as a giraffe
LEARNING CONTEXT • Grade 4 • Learners to be in appropriate attire and be in the playing ground within the marked area

ASSESSMENT • Prepare a condition game where the learner performs the lesson skill as explained and demonstrated by the teacher. • The teacher supervises and awards grades to the learners based on their performance using a tabulated criteria
