Other key messages • The Australian Curriculum has been embedded in NSW BOS syllabuses, which will begin implementation in 2014. • The literacy and numeracy continuums are compatible • Those schools ‘doing’ Focus on reading, AL, L3, TOWN, and even Best Start, will find that the syllabuses are an extension of the learning they have done • Diversity, meeting the needs of all students, including those with learning difficulties is central to the new syllabuses • A genuine continuum of learning Hunter ETA New Syllabus afternoon
