Current living conditions of Indians • Many are in poverty without enough money for things like insurance and healthcare. • The government has recently put out a healthcare plan to make it more affordable for Native Americans to buy. • Many people make fun of them by being racist and bias. • There Current income is $33,132 • 71% of adolescents have used alcohol
Current living conditions of Americans • The living conditions for Americans are much better than Native Americans. • The average income for families are $44,383. • They can take care of themselves much better and they’re more independent.
Based on the current living conditions of Americans and Natives was the Indian Removal Act justified? • The Indian Removal Act isn't justified because it put many in poverty, it reduced income of Native Americans, and made an bad environment for kids.
